"A Woman Scorned"

Film: Attack of the 50ft. Woman (1957)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: 50 feet tall, of course, and increased weight as well.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Anyone who knowingly cheats on their spouse has exactly what's coming to him most of the time. And Harry Archer was no exception. In fact, the universe decided that this particular spod needed to meet his fate at the hands of not just his wife, but one infused with the forces of the cosmos itself!

History: To be like Nancy Archer would be a bittersweet fate. On one hand, you'd be super rich. On the other, you'd be emotionally unstable, facing a drinking problem, and have a husband set on sending you back to the looney bin while he takes your fortune. And then Nancy encountered that balding giant alien humanoid and everything seemed to go even further down the drain. Oh yes, a big armor-wearing Vin Diesel-looking guy came from a sphere from space and accidentally exposed her to his radioactive hands. Then she grew to the size of a building. And she just realized how much of a sleezeball her husband was. Oh, dear...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After getting ahold of her cheating husband, Nancy happens to walk near a power fuse, which is then shot to electrocute her. It works, and Nancy and Harry die together.

Powers/Abilities: Nancy is now not only strong, but also immune to bullets.

Weakness: Anything other than bullets, apparently.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Nancy already had issues, now imagine her taking all that out on a small town. It's good that her only target was Harry, because had it been everyone else, things would have gotten ugly really fast, as if they didn't already. As for that alien, well none can say...

Trivia: -There was going to be a sequel to this, but it never got beyond the script.

-One of the set locations, the mansion, was actually a pre-WW1 estate in Hollywood Hills used commonly in other films at the time.

Some of the people below her do admit there's a silver lining....

Please stop being suggestive.

The giant that started it all.

"Brings a new meaning to 'kill the lights', now doesn't it?"

At least she managed to get out before they built a skyscraper sized lobtomy kit.

Did her ex just grow several feet in length? Because that...looks really freaking stupid.

Like an bride at her wedding day, she glows...although that could be the mutation or bad special effects. You make the call.
